The sound

Where the conservatory meets the frost

Tremolo-picked walls of guitar, blast-driven rhythm and harsh vocals built on counterpoint, modal harmony and the structural ambition of neoclassical composition.

Perkelium is where the studio's tools get their hardest test. The plectra were born from its tremolo passages. The Black Urn is being built to capture its density. The released songs were recorded on an RME HDSPe AIO Pro through the same amps, cabinets and microphones listed on the studio page.
